Wow, Marc - I'm going to pray for more priests of the Fr. Baltrus type! I listen to your podcasts while I'm working and several times during your interview with Fr. Baltrus I had to just stop working and sit and hold my breath and listen. I got chills when you asked about his first Mass, his ordination, and when he answered the question about what the laity can do to increase vocations. Not everyone can become a priest or religious, but everyone can appreciate those priests and religious in our lives who have the calling.

Bravo Marc and Fr. Baltrus!

Great interview Marc! I also listen to Joe McClain's podcast, and I know he talks a lot about leaving Itunes reviews. I'd like to leave one for his and yours, but I don't have an account. Do you know if one is required to leave a review (I would imagine so)?By the way, I didn't know yo had a facebook! I'll have to add you!

God Bless :)

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!

Please check out www.truescarlett.com for more vocations posters.

I produced this poster that you mentioned here for Father Meyer, and have been creating more ever since. It's been a GREAT blessing. We love priests! We love vocations!!
Blessings to all!

Thanks also to your podcast. It helped me really question if I am being called to the priesthood or just a nagging curiosity and desire. I went and spoke with a priest after Mass and it was helpful.

If I do become a priest someday, your podcast efforts were partially helpful :D

Fr.Baltrus was incredibly inspiring in this interview, especially when talking about what he likes to do in his free time, just have time alone and think. I think a lot of people can relate to that, I know I can. Thanks for this great interview Marc!

Thank for sharing an interview with Fr. Meyer! This priest is truly an inspiration and a good person.

I do hope that more people will answer God's call to whatever religious vocation that God will give to them.

Yes, it was! Someday I'd love to compile a book of priests' rememberances of their first Masses. That would be my idea of heaven on earth: Gathering interviews, written pieces, and photographs on first Masses.

Can't get enough of 'em!

Another inspiring podcast, Marc!

Thank you, Fr. Luckas, for sharing a little of your life with us in this interview. There are many Catholics in India and we're fortunate that they have given us such a holy priest.

This interview was really inspiring. It's wonderful to hear from a priest who is in love with Christ, the Church and his priesthood. I pray that our Mother Mary will bring many more holy priests to the church.

Fabulous interview - I would love to hear a "Part 3"! Father Jay truly is a happy priest and we're so lucky to be able to hear him in a relaxed and casual interview talking about his trains and his parents.

It is so important to hear from priests and religious who are happy and not shy about letting everyone know.

God bless!

Worth the wait for sure! Few people are as exciting to listen to as Fr. Jay.

The cliffhanger end to Part 1 is sheer genius.

Thanks, Marc - can't wait to hear Part 2.

Thank you again for another vocations podcast! I anxiously await each one.

It was wonderful to hear Sr. Rosemary sound so enthusiastic about her religious life and her order after 40 years. That's a great advertisement in itself: That her enthusiasm can jump through my headphones after 40 years. What an inspiration for any vocation! You know you followed God's call when you can look back and say "This has been such a great life!".

You're absolutely right JB. Unfortunately I don't think his sense of humor translated well to this medium. That's a shame too because when he interjects humor in his homilies, it serves to make them more memorable, which in turn only serves to imprint the message of his homilies into your conscience.

Thank you for the opportunity to listen to and comment on "CVPC #7- Fr. Stephen Klasek". Having known him as Pastor of Holy Rosary Church in Nashville, and then hear you say he is a "holy Priest", is "right on". It was nice to hear him speak of his own self discovery. Just hearing him respond to your questions reminded me of his subtle sense of humor. That he is deeply spiritual and deeply human makes him an embodiement of "Christ like".

Hi Marc-

I just thought I'd drop you a little note to say that I have thoroughly enjoyed your podcast. I like the holiness of the priests, and the knowledge of the vocations director in this episode of the podcast. It sounds like you have a great start and the sound quality has gotten better. Keep up the good work! Look forward to your next podcast in a week or so.

Hi Mark,

Just wanted to say I am loving your new podcast! As a listener to SQPN and as someone currently discerning my vocation, your show is just the right thing for me. Father Chris' story was great as well.

God bless you and your ministry,
